The Young Carers School Challenge calls on every school in Scotland to take action so young carers are recognised, supported and given the same opportunities as their peers. By committing to simple but powerful steps, from appointing a Young Carers Champion to ensuring staff have the right training - schools can make a big difference to young carers’ wellbeing, attendance and attainment. Together, we can make sure support for young carers doesn’t depend on where they live or what school they attend.
