Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living (GCIL) promotes independent living by helping disabled people gain the information, skills and support to challenge barriers and make informed choices.

If you are a disabled person, or you are authorised to act on behalf of a disabled person, Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living can help you to set up and manage your support arrangements. Anyone wanting information or advice on how to access an SDS budget and support package living in Glasgow, South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire or East Dunbartonshire, can contact us.

Once you have been assessed by social work and a budget agreed, we will talk you through the paperwork and process involved when managing your own budget. We can assist with the safe recruitment of a PA and/or assistance to identify a care provider. For Glasgow residents we can guide you on how to access your Allpay account, and in other localities we can advise you on bank accounts.
