The Wing Hong Centre aims to improve the health and wellbeing of Chinese older people living in the Glasgow area.
The Lantern Hub Project aims to:
- Improve Community Unity and Integration
- Provide Professional Supports and Services
- Promote Chinese Culture and Heritage
- Improve the influence and Voice of the Chinese Community in Mainstream Society
The Project is aimed at:
- Chinese Community Members
- People who need help and support
- People who are eager to meet new friends
- People are enthusiastic about Chinese Community development
The Project offers a range of activities and services including:
- Social gathering and befriending activities
- Workshops (Art and Craft, Cookery and Gardening, etc)
- General information enquiry
- Seminars (health, energy saving, money advice)
- Cultural events and celebrations
