Community Coffee Meetups

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Spinal Injuries Scotland
This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 31/03/2026

Once a month, Spinal Injuries Scotland's Peer Support Advisors host informal in-person coffee meetups at accessible venues across Scotland, from the Highlands to the Borders.

Open to SIS members and their families, these relaxed gatherings are a chance to meet others who truly understand life with a spinal injury. Whether you're newly injured, a long-term member, or a family member seeking community, there's a place for you at the table.

Share experiences, swap practical advice, or simply enjoy a coffee and a laugh with people who get it. Each session is hosted by a local Peer Support Advisor with lived experience of spinal injury.

All are welcome — feel free to bring a family member or carer along too.

To find your nearest meetup, check the events schedule on the SIS website, or contact your local Peer Support Advisor for more information.
