Couch to 5K

One of the biggest challenges a new runner faces is not knowing how or where to start.  More often than not when trying to get into exercise, we can do too much, feel defeated and give up when we're just getting started.


Couch to 5K is a running plan for absolute beginners. Ideally it involves 2 guided runs a week with the weekly schedule changing over the length of the course. It works works because it starts with a mix of running and walking to gradually build up your fitness and stamina.


If you decide you want to join us, all you need do is come down to Scotstoun on any Monday, Tuesday or Thursday for a 7pm start. The jog leaders will be waiting within the reception at Scotstoun Stadium. The first month is free and if you decide to join after that then the cost is only £25 a year.
