Launched in February 2024, the Dandelion Project is a Moray Council initiative in partnership with RAF Lossiemouth, the 39 Engineer Regiment, and supported by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust. The project is dedicated to creating a supportive environment for Armed Forces children in Moray, ensuring they have the right conditions to excel academically and socially by addressing and removing any barriers arising from their parents’ military commitments.

The Dandelion Project works with schools, local partners, and relevant organisations to enhance educational support for children from Armed Forces families, including regulars, reservists, and veterans. It provides tailored resources, guidance, and professional development to address their unique needs and improve their educational experience.
