Baillieston Community Care offer a Dementia Short Break Service which is available in Glasgow and the surrounding areas, providing tailored respite care for individuals living with dementia.

We offer respite care in three main forms:

  • Live-in care - A carer resides in your home, providing continuous support and companionship both day and night.
  • Visiting care - If you need extra support for just a few hours each day or week, this option ensures you get the assistance you need without full-time care.
  • Calico House Respite Service - short and long stay respite care service, set up to provide short respite holidays to caregivers and disabled individuals.

This service offers a much-needed break for both the person with dementia and their carers, ensuring that high-quality, compassionate care is maintained in a familiar environment. Whether it's for a few hours or several days, our team is equipped to provide the support needed to make these breaks as seamless and beneficial as possible.
