Families in Crisis

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: The Leanne Fund This is a Claimed organisation
Last reviewed: 16/07/2019

At The Leanne Fund we know the stress that living with Cystic Fibrosis can bring, so we can offer a special grant to support families facing financial challenges as a direct result of caring for a family member who suffers from CF.

What is a crisis grant?

Crisis grants provide help for people who need money quickly because of an unexpected situation. For example -

Grants are available for costs related to travel/accommodation in respect of getting to hospital appointments outwith regular appointments.

Grants are also available to help with financial pressures for families when a young person must spend frequent prolonged periods in hospital.

We can also help in emergency situations where there has been a breakdown of relationships in your family and you have nowhere to stay.

Other circumstances will also be considered if detailed in the application form.

Crisis grants do not have to be repaid.

How to apply for a Crisis Grant?

Application forms for a Crisis Grant are available from your CF Nurse Specialist who will be happy to help you complete the form and return it to us so that we can make sure you get the help you need.
