Aberdeen Ethnic Minority Women’s Group CIC (AEMWG) is an award-winning, grassroots, community-led organisation supporting ethnic minority women in Aberdeen.

We provide a safe, empowering space to connect, share, heal, and thrive.

Our services include Mending & Circular Fashion Workshops for practical skills, wellbeing, and sustainability; a Women’s Conference Series at the Aberdeen City Council Chambers to amplify voices on women’s rights and racial equity; and regular Peer Support Circles.

We also offer Rights Awareness Workshops (housing, employment, education, family law), Creative Therapy, Storytelling, and Community Integration Support to help women build networks, navigate systems, and grow in confidence.

Open to ethnic minority women in Aberdeen. Most activities are weekdays (10 am–3 pm), with occasional evenings or weekends. No referral needed—just contact us to join.
