STAY Mentoring is a one-to-one service delivered at a range of colleges across the country.

STAY Mentors are dedicated to helping vulnerable students who might be at risk of dropping out due to external challenges and various factors.

The STAY service supports care experienced students aged 16 to 29, as well as non-care experienced students aged 16 to 24.

Our mentors assist students to sustain their college place and offer support with a variety of issues such as:

  • Budgeting
  • Housing support
  • Learning support
  • Mental wellness
  • Key services links
  • Financial & job applications
  • Advocating on student’s behalf

All participants will be allocated a key worker who will support them throughout their time at college. Please note our services operate in conjunction with the college services.

Young people can self refer, or parents and professionals can put in a referral.
