Direct Access is an open-door service is available to people 16 years old and over.


We provide essentials to help people sustain themselves, giving the time needed to focus on longer-term change.


Our goal is to support independence and resilience, but we understand that this can take time.


Advice and support are offered in various forms and can include:

  • Essential items including food, clothing and toiletries
  • Advice and support with housing issues and DWP benefit applications
  • Access to phones, internet, and digital support
  • Referrals to internal and external agencies
  • Laundry & Showers
