Venture On To Recovery is a free personal development programme which supports adults living in Glasgow who are in recovery (abstinent) from drug and/or alcohol addiction.

The programme is delivered over 3 days each week, involving one day in which participants work through Level 3 SQA personal development qualifications, a weekly outdoor activity such as hillwalking or climbing, and a group discussion based session. In addition, participants are supported through one-to-one sessions and take part in two residentials staying in bothies (simple cottages) in the Scottish Borders and Highlands.

Venture On supports people's recovery journey by providing the opportunity to gain skills and qualifications, take time to discover who they are, feel self-worth and purpose, and to identify and work towards their future goals.
