Afreshe

Delivered by: Afreshe
Last updated: 30/07/2025

Afreshe promotes heritage to nurture the esteem of African children, young people and adults towards prosperity though active participation in local communities.

By organising and participating in various activities that promote cultural heritage, we cultivate and nurture open and lively interactions among different generations of African and other communities in Scotland and in this way contribute to healthier social relations and more prosperous communities.

Since 2008, Afreshe has delivered a range of projects, each one focused on an aspect of heritage to help African children, young people and adults in Scotland build esteem in their identity, integrate into their communities and unlock their full potential.
