YEquality

Last updated: 29/01/2026

This programme fundamentally explores and enables young people to consider how we can all become ‘Equality Champions’. Throughout the programme our youth workers and the young people work as a group to:

  • discuss what equality means through a feminist lens
  • explore and challenge gender stereotypes
  • raise awareness of inequalities
  • discuss leadership skills
  • share useful tools that can be implemented when transitioning into high school

Our YEquality sessions are delivered by expert facilitators and cover the following topics:

  • Gender-equality
  • Online safety
  • Body image & self esteem
  • Leadership
  • Next steps

We have a limited number of fully funded YEquality programmes each year that are reserved for youth groups and schools. The programme is also available as a paid programme if our current funded spaces are already allocated.

Regions:
  • Scotland
