WestMARC (West of Scotland Mobility and Rehabilitation Centre) is an NHSGGC Service serving over 42,000 active wheelchair and prosthetics patients.
Services provided at WestMARC include:
- Wheelchair and Seating Service which provides wheelchairs and children’s buggies, with postural supports if required, to people requiring wheeled mobility that are living in the West of Scotland.
- Prosthetics Service which measures for, manufactures and fits artificial limbs for adults and children with amputation or limb absence.
- Environmental Control Service which provides services to patients within NHSGGC, enabling people with severe disabilities to independently control their home environment.
- Clinical Gait Analysis Service which supports patients with complex gait problems by integrating the assessment and planning of medical, therapy and orthotic interventions.
