Rare Breed Men Tribe

Last updated: 10/12/2025

Rare-Breed Men Tribe (RBMT) is a Scottish charity (SCIO) dedicated to the wellbeing, and empowerment of Black men and their families. Born during the COVID-19 pandemic from the lived experience of isolation faced by its founder, RBMT has grown from a small virtual hangout into a thriving community organisation.

We address the challenges of social isolation, mental health, unemployment, and cultural integration that Black migrants in Scotland face but rarely find safe spaces to talk about.

Our work is practical, holistic, and rooted in lived experience.
