Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) offers free and confidential emotional and practical support, information and advocacy to all survivors aged 12 and over in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian, who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. This includes, rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse, childhood sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation.


We work to change attitudes about gender based violence and improve services for survivors. Our prevention project offers free sexual violence prevention education to 11–25 year olds in schools and other youth settings in Edinburgh City, East, Mid and West Lothian.
