Aberlour Options Disability Service - Moray

We offer short breaks for families where a child has a disability. We support children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, or more complex physical and health needs.

We offer a safe, homely environment for a child to come and stay for a short break that gives their families a rest from their caring role. During their break, children enjoy a range of fun activities and experiences with our staff who specialise in taking care of children with disabilities. Our service is very much a ‘home from home’ for the children who stay with us there.

Short breaks can range from a few hours to overnight stays.

We can also provide support for children in their own homes and in school. We run after-school care during the term time and organise play-schemes during the school holidays with activities based in the community. We can also offer support through parenting advice and emergency short-notice care.
