Eildon Ramblers group

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Ramblers Scotland - Eildon Ramblers This is a Claimed organisation
Last reviewed: 28/03/2019

Based in the Scottish Borders our steadily growing membership is drawn from a wide area covering Hawick, Jedburgh, Kelso, Chirnside, Earlston, Lauder, Melrose, Galashiels and Selkirk. A warm welcome is guaranteed for new walkers and visiting members of other Ramblers groups. At the end of most of our walks there is the opportunity to socialise and build friendships over coffee and cake at a local café.

We offer a wide range of walks on alternate weekends throughout the year, often with walks on both the Saturday and Sunday. Our walks range from leisurely low level to strenuous hill walks, reflecting the range of abilities and expectations of our membership.

We arrange at least one away trip each year with a range of walks across three days. In September 2018 we are away at Drymen and in September 2019 we are going to Arrochar.
