Sharing A Story CIC is a small community organisation based in East Lothian.
We use creative writing, shared reading and other creative methods in order to reduce social isolation. Our main goal is to empower people to engage creatively, in whichever way feels right for them, in a safe and supportive environment. We always like to reassure everyone that there is no wrong or right way to be creative!
Sharing stories together as a group can foster social cohesion and we have seen at first-hand the difference these sessions and the magic that creativity can make to people's health and wellbeing.
