Paisley Sinfonia is always pleased to welcome new members. There is no formal audition but you will be asked to play in the section for a few weeks - then a decision on membership will be taken in conjunction with the section leader.
Previous experience of orchestral playing is helpful. We suggest that players, particularly string players, need to be of at least ABRSM Grade 6 standard to get the most enjoyment from rehearsing some difficult works.
