Front door is 242 cm high and 135 cm wide. Access via buzzer on left of front door at 140cm height. Sliding doors. Reception on left of door, height 115cm curving round to the left where height is 75cm. Plastic screen along reception. Doors, light switches and handrails all colour contrasted red against pale grey. Hand rails run along all clear areas of wall, and where possible on both sides. Handrails are round and sit at 98cm
Sliding door manually opened by staff when buzzer used. Buzzer to left of front door at 140 cm height. Level access, door 135 cm wide and 242 cm high.
Disabled toilet approximately 26 m from front door round to the right turning right into the toilet. Bathroom 250 cm x 203 cm. Door width 93cm and 190cm high. Door opens outwards. Toilet in front, with grab rails and adjustable handrail to the right of the toilet. Turning and space to right of toilet. small sink to the left of the front door, bin to the left of the door under handtowel dispenser. sanitary bin on left of toilet against the back wall. Emergency pull chord to right of toilet.
Most staff are trained to use basic sign language. BSL-English interpreters available to be booked.
Portable loop at lower end of reception available, and loop system available on request in large room with wooden floor and cafe.
The number 17 and 19 buses stop on George Street just past John Street, and on St Andrew's Street at the end of Jopps Lane. Number 12 and 59 stop on John Street at the Woolmanhill end. Number 18 and 23 buses stop on West North Street, which is about ten mins walk from John Street.
Two disabled parking spaces available on Jopps Lane to the left of the entrance of our office, less than 20 m walk from furthest space. One space is across the road from our front door.
Free WiFi available, password available from Reception staff.
Disabled toilet is gender neutral
Speaking lift available to first floor, which is not open to the public and is only for staff use.
Translation services can be booked on request from InterTrans.
