GMAC CashBack is open to young people aged 13-25 that are currently underrepresented and face barriers in entering into the creative industries.
The CashBack Programme, running from 2023 to 2026, aims to empower young people by offering them the chance to learn filmmaking skills and explore their creativity. Partnering with community organisations and schools, it provides free Introduction to Filmmaking Training Week and Film taster sessions covering topics like camera skills, screenwriting, and sound. Participants will learn from industry professionals, gaining insight into career opportunities in the screen industries and pathways for further education and training.
We are looking for partners to nominate young people to our Filmmaking Training Weeks, or invite us to deliver an Introduction to Film taster session for your group. If you work with any young people who could benefit from participating in the project, please reach out via email
