Hawthorn House Care Home

Last updated: 15/05/2026

Hawthorn House is a Care Home located in the North of Glasgow designed to support older people 24 hours a day, providing personal care and support to people who are no longer able to live independently in their own home.

Hawthorn House has eight units, each named after a Scottish flower by its first residents. The care home provides a high-quality living environment focused on the individual needs of residents.

Hawthorn House has a fully equipped guest room for families who need to stay close to their loved ones.

There is a wide range of social events and activities, planned by residents with support from our full-time Activity Co-ordinator. The home has a cinema room with a large screen, comfortable chairs, and views of the courtyard.

We aim to support residents to continue hobbies and interests they already enjoy.

Activities may include:

  • cinema nights
  • visiting entertainers
  • keep-fit sessions
  • games and outdoor activities

All activities are based on what residents want to do.
