Last updated: 20/10/2025

Our Helpline aims to support people with arthritis and carers of those living with the condition, by providing practical and emotional support. We want to empower people by providing advice and information on conditions including OA, RA, fibromyalgia, psoriatic arthritis and gout and supporting them with advice on symptoms, medication and ways to self-manage their arthritis. Research is a vital part of Arthritis UK, so you can be sure that we are providing evidence-based information and you will always be speaking to someone who understands arthritis and the various challenges it brings. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with arthritis for many years, we can help with any questions you many have. Our lines are open from 9am-6pm, Monday–Friday (excluding bank holidays). All calls are free from all UK landlines and on consumer mobile phones. Please note our advisors aren’t medically trained and aren’t able to offer you individual medical advice.
