Live Chat

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: LGBT Youth Scotland
This is a Claimed organisation This organisation is a Registered Charity
Last updated: 18/05/2026

Live chat is a text-based chat between you and a youth worker where you send messages back and forth. We aren’t going to judge you or tell you what to do. All our youth workers are fully trained in working with LGBTQ+ young people.  If we aren’t available, you can always leave us a message, and we will get back to you.

The youth worker is there to help you understand what you’re experiencing, talk about how you feel, and think about what you might want to do next.  You are in control of what you tell us – you don’t have to give your name or any other details. The support you will get from us is confidential, and we will listen carefully to everything you have to say.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you chat to us – lots of people come to us when they’re questioning their identity and want some help to explore who they are.
