Midlothian Sexual Abuse Service (MSAS)

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 20/11/2025

MSAS offers support in Midlothian to survivors of all genders over the age of 18, who are currently experiencing or have experienced sexual violence. When you contact MSAS, we will offer you here and now support, as soon as we are able. This will consist of up to six 50 minute support sessions with the same worker. During this time, we will provide you with a safe, confidential space where you will be believed and supported. Towards the end of these sessions, we will explore the next steps with you. Following here and now support, you can join a waiting list for a block of further support, up to 16 sessions, if required. This may not be with the same worker and there will be a waiting time for this support.
