Rags to Riches

Last updated: 22/10/2025

Rags to Riches is an award winning upcycling project which provides workspace and educational programmes since 2011. With our team of “upcycling professionals” we aim to inspire and reskill our community. We produce a range of locally crafted affordable ‘upcycled’ products which we sell at the baths and in various other outlets.

Come along and join one of our workshops or courses and learn new skills across sewing and textiles, woodwork, craft, and mixed media. From traditional upcycling to furniture making, screen printing and mould casting, we use a majority of waste materials during our classes, aiming for zero-waste learning experiences for people from a broad range of backgrounds, ages and abilities.

All our workshops are hosted at our venue at The Deep End on 21 Nithsdale Street.
