As part of Shetland Community Connections commitment to shifting control back to the individual we established this CI registered support service for Adults 18+.
Recognising that relationships are key we focus on matching people of similar interest's , humour and experience to provide consistent support which places you in control. From short regular sessions to overnights using our registered support workers own homes and their local connections. Get in touch to see how we could join you in planning your own support.
We also offer reminiscence sessions called Sharing Stories for older people experiencing loneliness and isolation, we can arrange a matched person to visit individual's in their own homes. This has grown from our years of providing reminiscence visits within the Care Homes.
