Stanmore House Residential and Respite service in Lanark is a home from home for many young people and children.
Whether it is just a short break or a longer term placement, the bungalow's specifically adapted design and homely environment is well suited to supporting young people with the most complex needs.

What can we offer:

- A warm and homely environment with opportunities for individuals to extend and enhance the quality of their daily living
- 24 hour nursing service
- Access to therapy support, and multi-sensory activities
- A wide range of daily activities both in the bungalows and in the wider community
- One dedicated to providing accommodation for those young people who will soon be making the move from school to adult life.

During their stay young people are supported to develop some of the life skills they will need beyond school such as meal planning and preparation and budgeting. This is complemented by the work that is being carried out as part of the school curriculum to help pupils prepare for the future.
