Stirling Mid Week Group

by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) Scotland Claimed

1-2 days per week, volunteering sessions where volunteers carry out conservation/environmental tasks across the Stirling local authority area.

Working with a wide diversity of different clients - landowners, schools, community groups and woodlands. Conservation tasks to date have included the following:

- Fence building
- Removal of invasive species along woodland paths
- Path repairs
- Drainage installation
- Providing accessible ramp access onto a boardwalk
- Upgrading boardwalks
- Strimming wildflower meadows

We aim to increase the connection of our volunteers to their local greenspaces for the benefit of their health and wellbeing. We also aim to improve their skills and knowledge regarding biodiversity and wildlife; allowing people to have greater access to this knowledge.

**Booking is essential. Please contact the Senior Project Officer on the contacts provided.**
