One in five children and young people suffers from a long-term health condition, recognised as causing complex childhood trauma.

Teapot Trust’s vision is a world where children and young people with long-term health conditions are fully seen, supported and celebrated – able to flourish with confidence, creativity and hope, and to access the support they need, when and how they need it.

We provide transformative art therapy primarily in Scotland, but also across the UK, as an effective psychological tool to support and improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of often overlooked children and young people with long-term conditions such as Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Lupus and Cancer.

The voices of children and young people with long-term health conditions are central to all we do.

Young Voices is Teapot Trust’s Youth Work and Participation project.
