The Child Accident Prevention Trust

Last updated: 06/01/2026

The Child Accident Prevention Trust are the UK’s leading authority in child safety, working to reduce the number of children needlessly killed, disabled or seriously injured in preventable accidents.

We take our expertise to the frontline of family support, mobilising our network of 7,500 staff and volunteers who work alongside parents and children in communities UK-wide. We enable them to act as local child safety champions, equipping them with engaging educational programmes and resources to deliver direct to families, and providing them with expert advice via our newsletters, training events and website.

There is also a range of safety advice, resources, and learning and training materials available via the Child Accident Prevention Trust website.
