A free, weekly, trauma-informed chair-based yoga class for people in recovery from substance use and/or affected by mental health issues.

Thursdays 12-1.15, The Welfare Hall, Dalkeith

Classes are taught by two experienced and highly qualified trauma-informed yoga teachers. Classes will include gentle movement from a chair,  as well as breath and relaxation exercises.

Absolute beginners, people with limited mobility and long-term health conditions are welcome.

The class includes an optional 30 minutes for tea and refreshments after the class. 

No drop-ins, please. All places are by referral only. See our yoga on the social prescription webpage for details where you can complete our online referral application form.


The class is not suitable for people with active psychosis.
