Trauma Informed Parenting Workshops

Last updated: 16/01/2026

At Trauma Informed Parenting (TIP), we support parents, carers, educators, and professionals working with children who display challenging behaviours due to trauma or additional needs. Our goal is to help them apply a trauma-informed approach.

TIP's aim is to improve mental health, strengthen relationships, and break generational patterns of dysfunctional parenting.

TIP offer fully funded online workshops where participants learn to:

  • Recognise signs of stress and fear in themselves and their children
  • Understand what’s happening in the brain during moments of stress and fear
  • Use practical strategies to stay regulated, create co-regulation, and enable more moments of connection

TIP workshops are open to anyone living or working with children. They are attended by parents, carers, adopters, kinship carers, family support workers, social workers, teachers, and many other professionals.
