Women's Group

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Govan Community Project This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 20/01/2026

Our Women's Group brings women from diverse backgrounds together to share food, have discussions, participate in activities, go on outings and celebrate community events. The Women’s Group meets at our office in Govan on Fridays from 11am-2pm. We connect, catch up, have a cup of tea or coffee, and then usually take part in an activity or workshop. Our activities focus on personal development, physical and mental wellbeing and creativity.

The group is about building connections, strength and resilience amongst our community members. The sessions foster community and solidarity between the women who attend.

Children are welcome at our sessions, but it is appreciated if you advise the group facilitator in advance that you are bringing them.
