This programme fundamentally explores and enables young people to consider how we can all become ‘Equality Champions’. Throughout the programme our youth workers and the young people work as a group to:
- discuss what equality means through a feminist lens
- explore and challenge gender stereotypes
- raise awareness of inequalities
- discuss leadership skills
- share useful tools that can be implemented when transitioning into high school
Our YEquality sessions are delivered by expert facilitators and cover the following topics:
- Gender-equality
- Online safety
- Body image & self esteem
- Leadership
- Next steps
We have a limited number of fully funded YEquality programmes each year that are reserved for youth groups and schools. The programme is also available as a paid programme if our current funded spaces are already allocated.
