Young Makers

Delivered by: Citizens Theatre
Last updated: 07/01/2026

The Citizens Theatre is an iconic venue and theatre company in the Gorbals area of Glasgow.

Young Makers is a weekly group offering theatre activities for learning disabled and/or neurodivergent teenagers aged 14 – 18. Join us for drama games, storytelling, and theatre-making – your way. Make friends, learn new skills, and have fun in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Previously known as our Saturday Citizens group, past projects have included developing a podcast series and making a short film. The group has worked with creative professionals including filmmakers and spoken word artists.

Sessions take place on Saturday afternoons. There are three blocks a year, and a summer sharing.

Cost applies (see website for details).

If you’re interested in taking part, contact the Young Makers Co-ordinator to organise a trial session.
