EARS Independent Advocacy Service (SCIO)
EARS provides independent advocacy to people living in the Lothians.
We can:
- assist people to speak up and ensure their voices are heard
- provide accessible information so people can make informed choices
- enable people to gain control over their situations and lives
- help people to understand and protect their rights
- listen, hear, respect and act with only that person in mind
We provide independent advocacy to the following groups of people:
West Lothian:
- Older people (65+)
- Adults (16+) with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
- Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
- Adults (16+) with a diagnosed learning disability and/or autism
Midlothian:
- Older people (65+)
- Adults (16+) with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
- Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
East Lothian:
- Older people (65+)
- Adults (16+) with a physical disability and/or acquired brain injury
- Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
Edinburgh:
- Adults (16+) who have survived a stroke
