HSTAR Scotland SCIO This organisation is a Registered Charity

HSTAR Scotland SCIO Logo

HSTAR Scotland supports the mental health wellbeing of women in Forth Valley who have experienced trauma and abuse. We take a trauma-informed, person-centred approach, focusing on each woman's individuality and needs rather than diagnostic labels. Our inclusive, multilingual services empower women aged 16+ to explore emotions, connect with their communities, and take charge of their recovery from challenges such as PTSD, complex trauma, and neurodiverse conditions.

Recognising language barriers, we work with bilingual therapists to ensure accessibility and effective support. By fostering a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment, we help women build confidence, rediscover self-worth, and create fulfilling lives. Each client undergoes an Intake Assessment to confirm readiness and eligibility, ensuring safety and suitability.

Our work extends beyond therapy—advocating for better mental health practices locally and nationally to promote resilience and improve community wellbeing.
