Cruse Scotland

Cruse Scotland are here to support you through grief and loss. It doesn’t matter your relationship to the deceased or how recent or long ago the death occurred. 

Support can be accessed via the free phone Helpline on 0808 802 6161 (Open Monday-Friday 9am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm) or the online GriefChat function (Available weekdays 9am-9pm, access the website link below).


If you are struggling with your grief, you may be referred for up to six one-to-on counselling sessions. Counselling sessions are delivered face-to-face in a local meeting room, via the phone or via video conferencing. 


Other bereavement services offered by Cruse Scotland include; Children and young people support, Early Support and Suicide in the Workplace. The first step to receive support is by phoning the Free Bereavement Helpline, by email or accessing GriefChat.
