One-to-One Bereavement Support for Children, Young People & Families

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Cruse Scotland This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 12/01/2026

Our kind, compassionate and carefully trained volunteers are here to offer support to you and your child following a bereavement.

Children and young people can feel grief very deeply, but will often express this in very different ways to how an adult might grieve. Cruse therefore offer specialist advice and bereavement support services for children and young people of all ages, with approaches tailored to the individual child, their age and stage.

The first step to getting help for your child is to call our Free Bereavement Helpline. We also provide specialist support for young people up to the age of 18, who can choose to call our helpline themselves or have an adult call on their behalf.
