The East Ayrshire Health Visiting Team are available to all infants and their families from the antenatal period until children commence school. All families have a named HV who meets with parents/carers in the antenatal period & transfer of care following discharge from midwifery services on day 10 post birth and will have regular ongoing contact at home until a child goes to school as per the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
