Elgin and District Men's Shed

Men’s Sheds are similar to garden sheds. They are places to pursue practical interests, practice skills and enjoy making things and mending. The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while Men’s Sheds are the opposite.

Sheds are about meeting like-minded people and having someone to share your worries with. They are about having fun. As a by-product of all of that, they reduce isolation and loneliness, and they allow men to deal with mental health challenges more easily, most importantly, there will be a big kettle and seating area to chat and make new friendships and sort out the world.

The Shed is Open to men from all backgrounds and all ages.
