Midlothian Community Action
Midlothian Community Action (MCA) provide support, guidance, and representation for third sector organisations & volunteers in Midlothian. This includes grassroots community groups, charities, and social enterprises.
In our role as a Third Sector Interface (TSI), we provide a single point of access for support and are the main point of contact for the Scottish Government on third sector issues in Midlothian.
We also host a range of projects, partnerships, networks & forums; including Midlothian Climate Action Network (MCAN) & the Midlothian Financial Inclusion Network (MFIN).

Connect Befriending is a service aimed at helping older people stay connected to their community and confident in their own homes. We recruit volunteer befrienders who provide companionship & support.

Our Transform Project offers young people (15-24 years old) the opportunity to volunteer as part of a small group with full support and supervision from a Youth Support Coordinator.
