Transform - Supported Volunteering for Young People

This is a Claimed service
Delivered by: Midlothian Community Action This is a Claimed organisation
Last updated: 24/06/2025

Delivered directly by Midlothian Community Action, our Transform Project offers young people (15-24 years old) the opportunity to volunteer as part of a small group with full support and supervision from a Youth Support Coordinator.

Whether experiencing low confidence, additional support needs, mental health problems or just uncertainty as to whether or not volunteering is for you, Transform aims to be inclusive.

Volunteering activities take place for approximately 2 hours per week, and young volunteers can be involved for up to 6 months. With a wide range of volunteering activities available throughout the week, Transform aims to suit all.

Training is provided as necessary; therefore, no prior skills or experience are needed, just a willingness to give it a go.
