PAMIS
PAMIS, promoting a more inclusive society is the only charity that solely supports children, young people and adults with profound learning and multiple disabilities (PMLD) and their families to lead healthy, valued and included lives.
We offer a range of resources including Family support services; education/training; research and practice development; inclusive culture and leisure; campaigns; information sharing, multisensory story and narrative approaches; and digital resources to support inclusion.
PAMIS has spent 32 years listening and working with people with PMLD and their family carers, building research and practice that supports this group to be included and valued within society.
PAMIS is recognised nationally and internationally for the work it undertakes and has led the world in work in relation to bereavement and loss, emotional well-being, inclusive culture and leisure and as the co-founder and co-chair of the UK Changing Places Toilet Consortium.
