Slopefield Allotment Association
Slopefield Allotment Association is a constituted body set up in 2010 to manage on a day to day basis over 100 allotments in partnership with Aberdeen City Council and located just off Craigton Road in Airyhall, Aberdeen.
The main aims of the Association are :-
- To promote and share gardening expertise and knowledge
- To encourage the use of green and sustainable gardening methods
- To build partnerships with the local community including Airyhall Primary School, The James Hutton Institute and local business
- To maximise benefit to our members
- Enhance local biodiversity
- Substantially increase the well being of ALL involved
The Slopefield Allotment site is a very friendly horticultural haven with its roots firmly embedded within the local community and on a sunny Summer's day with the sunflowers waving in the breeze there is nowhere more peaceful in Aberdeen.
