The Warblers

The Warblers run singing for lung health groups in East Lothian and Midlothian. We provide an evidence-based programme group singing programme to improve the physical and mental health of people with chronic respiratory conditions and long covid. Research has shown that regular group singing can improve the physical and emotional health of people with COPD and other respiratory conditions.

Gentle singing can improve your lung fitness and re-train your breathing patterns. We believe you are the expert on your condition and encourage you to pace your activity within the group. Group singing is also fun and uplifting. Participants forge new connections and friendships and learn about other self-management activities.

All songs are taught by ear in a fun and relaxed environment – no singing experience needed. We believe that everyone can sing!
