Venture Trust
Venture Trust delivers intensive personal development for people, at any stage in their life, struggling with issues such as involvement in the criminal justice system in Scotland, long term unemployment, recovery from substance misuse issues, homelessness or risk of homelessness, isolation, and a history of trauma or harm.
We provide:
- Personal development programmes that significantly improve people’s mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, relationships and use of local support and services
- Justice-specific programmes focused on rehabilitation and reducing offending
- Employability courses for individuals facing hardship and disadvantage
- An Outdoor Therapy service, combining professional therapy with the benefits from time in nature and the outdoors
By building trust and ensuring that people feel safe they can explore their complex experiences through personal development and therapy in their community and the Scottish outdoors.

Services
The CashBack Green Futures programme is for 16-25 year olds who are not in work, education or training, facing long term unemployment and/or disadvantage.
Programme supports individuals aged 16+ who are involved in the justice system as a result of offending or alleged offending behaviour who want to make positive and sustained changes.
Nature Based Programme for women whose backgrounds have led to their involvement in offending and the criminal justice system, or to experience homelessness or problem substance or alcohol use.
Outdoor Therapy is delivered in urban outdoor and green spaces. Service supports people by combining the benefits from time in nature with professional therapy to improve mental health and wellbeing.
